SPEAKER SERIES

The Indigenous Law Student’s Association Speaker Series is celebrating its 21st year in 2022! The Series is the Faculty of Law’s premier speaking event, taking place February 28th-March 4th at noon.

Each day features a one-hour presentation from a leading speaker on the intersection of Indigenous Peoples and the law. Speakers in past years have included professors, lawyers, members of the judiciary, and senators; the event is well-attended by members of the local bar, academics, students, the Indigenous community, and the general public. Normally taking place in Ross McLellan Hall, this year’s edition will feature an online Zoom Webinar format.

This year’s theme is “Coming Home: Bringing Children, Laws, and Legal Traditions Back to Their Homefire." Head over to our Spirit Seekers tab to see more information on this year's line-up of speakers and entertainment.  We look forward to seeing you soon!
