The Indigenous Law Students' Association (ILSA) is a student group within the Faculty of Law at the University of Alberta. ILSA provides various supports to Indigenous law students and those interested in Indigenous legal issues. ILSA is devoted to raising awareness on current Indigenous legal issues within Canada and internationally.

Any law student is welcome to join ILSA if they are interested in engaging and taking the lead on Indigenous legal issues within the law school environment and beyond. Additionally, ILSA is well known for its supportive role in regards to its membership by providing networking opportunities to its members by hosting various events, as well as attending the annual national Indigenous Bar Association conference.

ILSA also hosts an annual Indigenous Law Speaker Series each year in the winter term for a week. The Speaker Series provides students, faculty, and members of the general public with the opportunity to further their own educational and personal development through seminars focused on Indigenous legal issues. By exploring these areas of interest and importance, attendees can increase their knowledge and awareness of Indigenous issues within the context of the Canadian legal system.

More recently, ILSA has begun advocating for the inclusion of Indigenous laws within the University of Alberta Faculty of Law's curriculum, programming, and resources. This initiative is in line with the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Calls to Action.
